im not sure if people found this out or not but i couldn't find it anywhere.
Clip for OOB in the Sand Kingdom (near Tostarenean Ruins Entrance) by exploding a skull sign via bullet bill and standing in the destroyed sign before it spawns in, clipping you below the quicksand. Can be done with both signs near the entrance. Can't confirm if it can work with other skull signs, for example the ones in and around Jaxi Ruins.
https://twitter.com/Icay___ found the moon clip thing and I found the pipe clip using it.
You can gain infinite height in Metro Kingdom by abusing the Hat object. (This object is on a bench east of Pauline after achieving peace. It disappears once you collect moon No.57) You need to jump and immediately throw the Hat with Y, then dive towards the Hat and on the frame you bounce off of the Hat, press Y to pick it up followed by a second Y press to throw the Hat again and repeat the process. The Y press to pick up the Hat when bouncing on it is difficult and only has a window of about 2 frames.
This glitch utilizes the "Roll Cancel Clip" to clip through the door of the Inverted Pyramid allowing the player to break the sequence of Sand Kingdom and skip 2 story moons. Used in longer speedrunning categories such as All-Unique-Moons and World-Peace. Discovered by Syrkl
This trick utilizes "Turnip Clip" to clip through the box guarding the second story moon of Luncheon Kingdom. Clipping method discovered by Mnyush. Clipping spot discovered by Syrkl.
By placing a Turnip very close to a wall, releasing a Panbro over said turnip, then lastly re-capturing the Panbro, it is possible to be pushed out-of-bounds. It is possible to achieve this with only a single Turnip as-long as good placement is used. Discovered by Mnyush.
This glitch is a clipping method which allows the user to get OoB in many locations where there is a slope leading into water. The inputs are very similar to "Roll Cancel Clip", the only difference being you need to move the analog to guide Mario towards the wall you wish to clip through. Discovered by Mnyush.
This trick utilizes Roll Cancel to clip through certain walls and surfaces. You must be very close to the wall you wish to clip through, Then perform the inputs correctly listed in the video. Discovered by Zinpars.
This glitch uses Yoshi's tongue to push Goombas out-of-bounds, you can also use the spot in the video to capture the goomba whilst it is OoB and remain OoB. To do this, place a Goomba close to the wall you wish to clip it through, then attempt to eat the Goomba with Yoshi but immediately cancel the Tongue animation by releasing the Yoshi capture (press ZL or ZR). Discovered by Syrkl
In the sub-area (Seaside Kingdom) with the rising Lava, it is possible to get underneath the Lava plane by capturing the Uproot after the Lava has passed it. To stop the Uproot from dying to the Lava you must have the camera aimed away from the Uproot until the Lava rises past it as the Uproot will be unloaded when off camera.
This glitch allows the player to get out-of-bounds in the Luncheon Kingdom sub-area with the Cheese rocks moon shards. To perform this you must capture a Pan-bro whilst it is being pushed by a Spiny, this clipping method is very similar to "Turnip Clip" found by Mnyush. This clip spot was discovered by Syrkl.
This glitch allows the player to get out-of-bounds in the Seaside Kingdom sub-area, Underwater Tunnel to the Lighthouse. To do this you must perform "Cheep Cheep Release Clip" at certain spots in the ceiling. The spot used in the video is very consistent and easy to pull off. Discovered by Syrkl
This glitch allows the player to get out-of-bounds in the Seaside Kingdom sub-area, Narrow Valley. To do this, capture the second Gushen and drop it down to a lower altitude, kill the Gushen at this lower altitude and then go back to its spawning location. Now you must time a jump to bounce on the Gushen the first frame it spawns and then immediately perform a down-throw (it is possible to do this with a regular throw but it is more precise, you can also try using a homing throw). You will now have captured a glitched Gushen which has no collision. This only works in 1.0 and 1.1 versions of the game. This clip spot was discovered by Adalydebest
This glitch allows the player to get out-of-bounds in the Snow Kingdom sub-area, Wind-Chill Cavern. Bring one of the Ty-foo captures over to the wall and position yourself at one of the sharp convex seams. Hold Y to blow and at the frame right before the blow attack appears you need to release from the capture (ZL/ZR). Discovered by Syrkl
This glitch allows the player to get out-of-bounds in the Wooded Kingdom sub-area, Flooding Pipeway. To do this, perform a groundpound the moment the water level lowers to the point of Marios head, you may need to press jump right before performing your groundpound. Discovered by Veal of Maya
This glitch allows the player to get out-of-bounds in the Sand Kingdom sub-area, Inverted Pyramid. To do this you simply need to crouch walk into the left-side corner of the entrance to the area. Slowly tapping the analog to move will give the best results. Discovered by Syrkl
This glitch allows the player to get out-of-bounds in the Cap Kingdom sub-area, Poison Tide. To do this simply capture one of the Paragoombas and walk into the right-side corner of the entrance door (it must be the entrance, the exit does not work) to the area. Slowly tapping the analog into the corner will give the best results. Discovered by Syrkl
This glitch allows the player to get out-of-bounds in the Cap Kingdom sub-area, Frog Pond. To do this you must perform a "Forced Release Clip" (2-Player only) using a secondary Frog capture which is soon to expire and disappear. You'll want to try and capture the dizzy second Frog 1 or 2 frames before it disappears. This trick is very difficult to set-up and execute. Discovered by Syrkl.
